RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The house isn’t all that old, built around 1990, in the middle of a quiet area of Rankin County. We’ll keep the exact location a little obscure because Alice, the owner of the home, doesn’t want to attract undue attention to it.
Of course now if you know Alice then you already know about the house. And if you are one of Alice’s neighbors, you definitely already know about the house, like Erin and Justin Brown.
Erin not only had heard about the ghosts, but has also seen one.
"We were doing a little bit of yard work and I’d come around the corner and he was standing at the back full window door just looking at me, like you would be drinking your morning coffee," said Erin.
Justin has seen him, too, only not as clearly. The figure was standing in the upstairs window in the wee hours of the morning a while back.
It was probably, what, about three o’clock in the morning?" said Justin. "I was getting my stuff out of my truck. And I happened to look up. There’s a window outside. And there was just a figure staring down at me almost gray as cigarette smoke.
One time I was standing up there on that little balcony talking to somebody on that couch downstairs and the candle, we both saw this, just got up and levitated across the room and went over there," said Alice. "We both saw it. It didn’t just shoot out or tip over. It just kind of levitated over there."
John Bullard does paranormal investigations. He calls his organization Smoke and Mirrors PI. You can look up their web site. He says his team hasn’t found a more active house anywhere.
We have captured over 35 different EVPs, male and female voices," said John. "We have caught shadow figures, we also have lights going off pretty much every device that you can use in the paranormal."
My granddaughter, Emily Ann, became a believer with test devices going off in her hand. The neighbors have long since been convinced.
"Made a believer out of me," said Erin.
And Alice? Alice doesn’t stay her by herself anymore. But just remember, if you come to see Alice and she isn’t there, that doesn’t mean NO one is at home.MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
